Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival (Sept. 27-29)
A castle overlooking the Atlantic Ocean serves as a beautiful setting for this 44th annual event. Held at Huntington Beach State Park’s Atalaya Castle, this showcase attracts top artisans from the Southeast.
Irish Italian International Festival (Sept. 28)
Celebrate two European cultures in one at this 16th annual festival along Main Street in North Myrtle Beach, which highlights the food, music and heritage of Italy and Ireland.
Myrtle Beach Bike Week Fall Rally (Sept. 30-Oct. 6)
Thousands of Harley-Davidson riders make their way to the Grand Strand for a full week of festivities, including bike shows, poker runs, live music and biker games at various venues.
Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival (Oct. 4-6)
A downtown neighborhood throws a big block party with three days of excellent jazz and food. The fourth annual event also features blues, soul and R&B in a celebration of African American heritage.
Harvest Home Weekend Festival (Oct. 5-6)
Beautiful Brookgreen Gardens gets an autumn makeover for this traditional fall festival for the whole family. Take a hayride around the 9,000-acre property, enjoy live entertainment and let the little ones decorate a pumpkin.
Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest (Oct. 11-12)
The Market Common transforms into Munich for the weekend with German food and beer, live entertainment, a kids’ play area and more on the Grand Park grounds.
Little River Shrimp Fest (Oct. 12-13)
The tiny fishing village celebrates the “Carolina mud bug” with fresh seafood, live music, vendors, kids’ attractions and dancing along the Little River waterfront.
St. John’s Greek Festival (Oct. 17-20)
The 27th annual event features four days of Greek culture, food, dancing, arts and more.
Loris Bog-Off
The 40th annual festival, held in the nearby town of Loris, honors a South Carolina culinary classic – chicken bog. Chefs serve their secret recipes to judges and the general public, along with a concert, fireworks and a car/tractor show.
Hippie Fest (Oct. 26)
Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock with a trip back in time to the 1960s with peace, love and music of the period.
Lip-Rippin’ Chilympics (Nov. 3)
Head down to the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk for the 20th annual chili cookoff and bloody mary mixing contest.
South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival (Nov. 28-30)
This Thanksgiving weekend tradition celebrates its 50th anniversary this fall with a star-studded lineup of bluegrass and gospel music. The three-day event is held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center auditorium.
